Typing Instructor For Kids Platinum

The ability to type quickly, accurately, and adeptly is a fundamental skill that practically everyone in technologically advanced countries needs to have in order to survive. It is a skill that has become as essential as reading and writing, in most respects. As modern civilization becomes more and more increasingly dependent upon computers and the Internet for conducting commerce, for imparting information, for communications, and for entertainment, it becomes all the more critical for people to learn how to type at a young age. In fact, it should come as no surprise to you that children are being introduced to computers in preschools and in elementary schools, in the classroom.

Learning how to type can be extremely challenging for young children. And it may not necessarily be that exciting of a past time, in and of itself. But when you turn typing into a game, especially an interactive game, then kids can learn to appreciate the importance of typing. They will be that much more motivated to memorize the locations of all the letters and to be able to type with greater accuracy and with greater speed.

The game Typing Instructor For Kids Platinum is one such example of an interactive typing tutor that doubles as a game for kids. Kids can learn to type by embarking on an exciting adventure on Typer Island. Using a typing plan that is catered to the child’s age and skill level, the child will learn the basics of typing through a series of challenging step-by-step lessons, games and tests that exercise as well as assess the child’s ability to master the art and skill of typing. The game offers the child various goals, such as navigating their way around the island to reach the Castle or to reach the Lost City. The game can interact with the child in either English as well as Spanish.

I remember when I was a kid and we had to practice hand-writing! It seems crazy now, I know. :) As far as typing goes, I’ve had more use for that skill than I could ever think. One thing I wish though is that I would’ve practiced low pressure on the keys, hardly moving the fingers instead of hammering the keys (which is what I do). That is one piece of advice I’d like to give today’s kids who are learning to type.
