I think there are many educational games available online now. THis one is particularly interesting as it teaches kids about US states and geography in general. I like these educational games as they tend to be very useful. There are also many retro games, which are great , such as Bomb It 2, which is a clone of Atomic Bomberman. These games can also be educational as they teach us about strategy.

This really is a neat idea. We all know that games are a great way to learn things (for adults and children). I am going to recommend this to my son, and I will probably play a few rounds myself. He will really get into it if he thinks it is a competition!

Statetris is a brilliant way to get good at geography.I wish, it had been invented earlier. I always found it so troublesome to memorize the locations of all the states. Kids now a days are lucky!

I tried state Tetris for my son and it was really a great experience for me too. Child inside me popped up while playing the game. I did not have to take any special efforts to make my son remember the names and the location of the states in any country. Now days some times if we will forget the names of the places he immediately gives the perfect answer for that. It has proved much helpful in increasing he general knowledge of my child.

There needs to be a larger room for error. I know all fifty states but it was way too picky. It was way too slow!!
