Free Interactive Whiteboard Activities

The British company Electronic Blackboard Ltd offers a sample of 15 free educational activities for kids for learning literacy, numeracy, geography, history and science. The activities can be used on an interactive whiteboard, but work equally well on an ordinary computer. They can be played in school, or just for fun at home.

To find the activities on the site, click the button “Library”. Activities include Counting Fish, Treasure Hunt, Visual Numbers, A Day At The Park and more. All games are ad-free, run in full-screen mode and are created in Adobe Flash.

  • Educational Games – Brilliant way of helping kids to learn in a fun way!

  • My wife is a teacher, and I have to say, interactive smart boards / white boards were a great breakthrough for schools and colleges, and these kind of games certainly add an element of fun to learning which in turn helps speeds the process up.

  • This will really prove as a nice site for my child. I was in search of the similar site on internet and happy to be here. I will love to make my child learn with educational games. It will be a great fun. In the school, such types of aids will be very much helpful. Children’s software for drawing, painting has been recommended by the school teacher. Such things are just safe for the children and they give parental control on the software, which is equally important.

When you look at devices like these, you realize just how far along we have come with technology doesn’t it. I mean I can remember doing my work on a blackboard with chalk when I was at school, & I’m not THAT old!

  • These are the games that children should play rather the violent ones. They could absolutely learn from them and experience enjoyment at the same time. @tollfreenumbers is right that schools this “such types of aids will be very much helpful”, they could use this to teach the children.

These are great! I remember playing Hang man on the blackboard at school and remembering being confused when they started using dry eraser whiteboards!

I imagine these similar to when the TV used to get rolled into the classroom. We’d all get excited but we were actually being tricked into learning!
