Plan It Green is a building simulation like Sim City, with an ecological theme. It lets you plan and build a green city with residential areas, parks, power plants such as wind farms, hydro plants and nuclear plants, and more. Try to bring as many new clean jobs and industries as possible to your city! Letting kids play this game is a great way to get them thinking about environmental issues.
The game Plan It Green was sponsored by National Geographic to celebrate Earth Day (April 22) 2009. A demo version that runs for 60 minutes can be downloaded for free, or you can buy the full version for $6.99. The game is available for both Windows and Mac.
I loved Sim City
i played the original SimCity in the 90′s and until now i still play the latest version of SimCity:–

I love playing Sim City. I’ve been playing it like for so long. It’s really addictive I tell you. I like the theme about ecology because it helps kids to awaken there senses about our how bad things would get if left unnoticed.

I remember playing Sim City when I was a kid. It was a very addictive game. Does anyone remember a similar game called Utopia?
