I wish I had the software toys available now when I was a kid. I played with lightbright and that sketch thing. Now kids can create unbelievably cool things on the computer with any number of software applications. I bet kids, being creative and patient (to some degree) could have a wonderful time with Photoshop and similar programs.

However, PaintGo has a simpler user interface and is created for kids. It looks pretty good.
